i live in dreams and the visions i see
i refuse to accept the hard cold bite of reality
i detest even the lessons of history
for my dreams are not mere fantasy

...to believe in a world of light not shadow
to hold persistently in the promise of tomorrow
...to glory in the human despite frailties, pain, and sorrow
to know that love is eternal though my own life i borrow

In the end the reality of death will not have its sting
the reality of oppression will fade as justice will spring
from our heart of hearts, all goodness will bring
all the love and the happiness because we believe our dream!

Transformation In every morning as the sun rises
All of the world and life it refreshes
The pains and hurts of the past day
Are healed by the balm of time's passing
And as all of us travel our own way
The new day gives us another lease another blessing

In time all our lessons and experiences
Rests in our heart, mind,and soul's recesses
They are not lost on the day we die
Inside humanity's collective spirit they lie
On conjure a better future, a better generation
So we move forward towards our true transformation.

There is a movement slowly rising
From the waste and dregs of our collective being
For what we have considered as useless before
Is now coming back to us with a vengeance asking more.

The soil we have trampled upon in our search for profit
Is now barren and now causes the economy’s deficit
The water we have wasted and polluted
Haunts us in our own body which is water perfected.

The precious air we have forgotten in every second we breathe
We have poisoned and will cause our fall and defeat.
The sun we have neglected in every sunny day,
We have destroyed the climate and life cycles in every way.

We thought that all things can be gained by money
When the best things in life are really free
We have destroyed these in our greed endangered our destiny
Because the sun, soil, air, and water is actually you and me.

The rains have come in the heat of summer
I was wondering what has happened to the weather
The cycles of nature have all but gone wrong
The seasons have begun where they do not belong

The living creatures dependent on nature's fluctuations
Have all but died in unstoppable extinctions
The ice have melted so polar bears have no where to rest
They drown in the oceans while trying to swim their best.

The majestic forests have all but died,
The flowers and butterflies lost in the tide
And all that's connected had the ecosystems thwarted
Chaos and confusion as a pandemic disease and death started

Oh humanity when will we ever learn
That everything is connected we must now discern
That what we do to nature is what we do to our own humanity
That Mother Nature's backlash comes from the hand of our own dark entity
