Respected Carol, you see why I say it is because we may confer these great words to some people, but we have a sportsman or woman winning Olympic, a doctor saving life, one cooking food, peasant growing seeds, driver driving bus, and any action that makes a difference for greater good in anyway, and the list is endless, you write with in-depth research, one solves a problem even without knowing anything but common sense, and this list is endless and applies to all at least moment of life.
This very moment of life gives the reflection of genius. None is without gifts and when ones uses it knowingly or unknowingly, one is the master of that moment. Mother gives birth to a child, and this is genius of nature appearing as birth something that no genius if male can do. We may be of low IQ, but this is not the end of life.
Even the genius people may fail at times, do wrong things, make mistakes and so on, but we cannot say that the law can forgive them. For example, the medical genius does not know lot about Math, and Artist may not even have any degree. The unbiased nature is the true genius as it is unbiased and has sense of equality. That is why we all learn from nature and it gives us wisdom, makes us genius and what can make us genius - ah how genius it can be.
The academics have enslaved the genius within all of us as it has become parameter. The conscience of a genius, wicked, fool, wise and or whatever one is same giving the same response, but we tend to associate it with action and thus some may fail, but it does not prove. However, I agree one may be academically weak, but it is not the ultimate parameter. If one can sing and fails in the music examination, we cannot say one should not sing as one has not passed.
However, youth all over the world seem to face this problem the academic results are the only proofs left in which almost all of the genius people also failed. We seem to have deprived them of research works which life teaches for 24 hours and thus they face so many mental problems that they may never learn about what is life. The golden moments that give opportunity to do something needs academic parameter and we find almost all young people have started to duplicate the original and thus is the crime rate.
Our academics can be changed into such an environment that helps all to make sense of what one learns at every moment and step of life not just in the institutions.
The research work that I want to promote named Philselfology is all about making learning an experience not just knowledge as we have computers for it. We need experience of learning not storage of it that can be uploaded or downloaded by artificial intelligence (AI) from any human brain and try to make every recorded thing in brain as supercomputer that gives AI as a tool to store more knowledge.
In many cases even the processing of AI can make one's brain used by others without knowing or one's permission violating international copyright, patent and all other laws, ethics, values and the similar, and thus I do not support it at all.
This can make some people so intelligent and others used just as human computers for searching and surfing for them, and it can be anyone among us to get what they or we can present as original works to the community, but self-learning that can make us a genius of moment giving the joy of life without conditioning of stimulus and response theories for brain feeding with artificial emotions. It is against natural laws and principles and one getting into this use of AI and others that are association go through deadly torturing and suffering very close to death until AI have full control over brains. I as a human regret even to know such a thing. It makes me feel that intelligent, wise and similar people may better go to jungles and live there or accept death as if mercy death as it can make one win AI.
This is
a secret to stop AI using human genius for some people. So, if one is not afraid of death AI fails to upload files from brain and thus is life lived happily.
I focus on scientific emotions (desire management for attaining balanced emotional maturity) and creative thinking (thought or knowledge management for attaining balanced intellectual maturity) that has no artificial content, but the one having all that makes life worth living happily. So, you are a genius. Thanks!

Note: Sharing the meaning of genius: When we say the meaning of genius non-academically it is from our sense of equality that we experience even in attending a congregation. So, my perspective is eastern.
It is for what I personally want to say metaphysically or spiritually and it is not my personally originated. I said because most of us judge and compare too much so my said words for genius is for those, who has sense of equality even though they may show low IQ.
My concern is that academically almost all students can do research work if we teach them how to do.
I fully agree with what one says or defines if the definition we consider academically but when we say as the meaning of genius or even a wizard in any subject like Bill Clinton is known in Math (people say he was wizard in math) as I did educational psychology in Education as a subject in my B.Sc. degree.
I hope it makes sense as I was not using any word academically but in a sense to make one think and feel that we can go for acquired genius if we are not inborn genius.

What I intend to say that our people whom we considered genius in human civilization and thus our grand history of world that they were and are having this sense of equality which aims for equality in civilian rights and thus their works are also for the welfare of all. They all claimed that we do not need to be deserving to do even little works of welfare.
I do not mean that Gold Medal should given to all but the attention.
We find so much discrimination in society from those, who claim to be intelligent and wise based on degrees, positions, status and so on makes life difficult and thus all wise ones may it be anyone suffers as civilian rights are higher than human right as it seems when we discuss about human right in right perspective.We have double standards as human rights have many gifted rights based on the power, money, position and anything that one cannot have as a civilian and thus the civilian rights make us all equal whether men and woman or children or aged people.
Why do women faces discrimination? It is because as it seems to many thinkers is that men seem be the owner of being genius and I do understand what kind of genius is within us when we consider man and woman equality. However, it appears that our education system does not seem to teach the students particularly female for higher creative intelligence it leads to social or civilian injustice.
I wonder but we understand that in our modern society women are used as products, but only those who allow exploitation otherwise woman aware of civilian rights seems more aware than who seek just gender equality or human rights.
