Daniel always prayed three times a day with his windows open toward Jerusalem.
Daniel was trusted by the king of Babylon more than any other governors .
One day, the governors who envied Daniel make a scheme to kill him.
They made King of Babylon sign the written decree that no one should make a petition to any god or man for 30 days.
If someone violated this, he was supposed to be cast into lions" den.
But Daniel never wavered.
Nothing in the world could overcome Daniel"s faith.
Daniel, as always, opened the windows and prayed toward Jerusalem three times a day.
Finally Daniel violated the decree as the governors" scheme and was cast into lions" den.
Then the King realized that this was the plot against Daniel.
But there was no other way.
King was at a loss before the lion"s dens into which Daniel was thrown.
Daniel prayed, trusting God alone even in the den of lions.
Then God sent His angel and shut the lions" mouths.
When the morning came, the king called Daniel carefully.
Then Daniel told him that he survived by the grace of God.
Daniel and the King gave glory to God.
And the King cast those men who accused Daniel into the den of lions.
The hungry lions broke all their bones in pieces.
Daniel was the man of prayer and with faith he overcame the big, life-threatening trial.
Likewise, God gives the greatest answer when we are In the desperate need of His helping hand through our prayer that we have stored up.
