Discover The Beauty Within You!
Posted April 16, 2011 by Delia in Oneness
Hello and welcome to my new blog!

My name is Delia and I am happy to be here with you, sharing, learning and enjoying this amazing experience of discovering the beauty and divinity within you!

I created this blog because I wanted to share with you the most beautiful places within our hearts, which are so deeply hidden underneath the surface of our ego. I want to see how much beauty we can find in each one of us, how much joy we can bring in each others lives through the simple realization of our divine essence which is to be found in the sacred space of our heart.

I started this project based on the idea that we all have more things in common than differences. The boundaries between us are artificial and illusory, because we all speak the same language: the language of the heart.

Unfortunately, our world is based on competition and separation, rather than unity, acceptance and recognition of the unique qualities within each human being. Still, I have met many people who truly believe in a world based on love, unity and peace, rather than separation and conflict. The Wings For All website is a proof of this and I am happy to be part of its family!
I think that we live in a time of transformation of the global human consciousness, when people become more and more aware of who they truly are and how they can transform the world starting with their inner transformation.

In this respect, here I intend to bring people together and discover the beauty within us, our true divine nature which is to be found in the depths of our heart, to share our experiences related to the opening of the heart and enrich our lives with new meanings. It's all about learning from each other, sharing our unique qualities and unite, regardless religion, faith, country of origin or color. United we are stronger and I believe that together we can create a better world, becoming more loving, more compassionate to others, awakening all the qualities within us, and honoring the divinity in each human being. In this way, our lives will be enriched with more beauty, love, peace, joy, and respect for all forms of life, understanding and tolerance.

We all have our own unique inner treasures and qualities. When we share our experiences from our heart, when we communicate through our heart, there are no barriers between us anymore and we miraculously become aware of who we really are: divine beings created and sustained by the same Universal, Divine Consciousness. We are all interconnected through fields of energy, through our thoughts and emotions and in the same time we are connected to the Universe and the Source of life which is the Divine Consciousness. We influence each other at a subtle level and everything that happens in a part of the world influences the rest of the world, because we are all part of the same family which is our Planet Earth, which is part of the Universe and so on.

You are invited to participate to my weekly on-line radio show every Wednesday from 6:30PM Pacific Standard Time and Saturday from 2:30PM Pacific Standard Time, where I speak about the opening of the heart in different spiritual traditions of the world: Yoga, Buddhism, Kashmir Shaivism, Christianity, Sufism, Judaism and more. In these presentations I give tools and techniques for opening of the heart, specific to each spiritual tradition and ultimately show that all of them have the same goal: the spiritual evolution of the human being, the unification between the individual and the Divine consciousness.

Poetry, Beauty, and Love
Posted February 27, 2011 by Bodhi in Inspiration
In our busy lives in our noisy times
We usually forget those refreshing notes
Those unforgettable lines
Of poetry and bliss, of metre and rhyme
Of unconditional love, of beauty divine.

Oh how i wish to simply go away
Escape society’s unnerving display
Of conventions and empty actions
Of useless words robotic interactions

I like to experience life in an unexpected way
Let the winds blow come what may
Abandon to the forces that created me
Give in to the breath and beat that let me be.

And you my love come and take me away
From all these troubles that hound me day by day
So we could start again at our endless beginnings
The ritual of love so pure so silent pristine feelings.

Arthur and the Witch

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.

The question...? What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer.

But the price would be high; as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first.

The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend!

Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc. He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life.

He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur.

He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table.

Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur's question thus:

What a woman really wants, she answered....is to be in charge of her own life.

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared.

And so it was, the neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened.

The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she
would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half.

Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day....or night?

Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day, but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments?

What would YOU do?

What Lancelot chose is below.

BUT....make YOUR choice before you scroll down below.

OKAY?

Noble Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.

Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.

The beauty of our days
Posted August 5, 2009 by Bodhi
There are so many things that are here but we don't notice
The silent companionship of friends and family simply passes
The most essential things in life are forgotten til the moment of goodbyes
Only then do we appreciate all the laughs, the joys, the pain, the cries

We chose to live inside our shells
Secure and unmindful til the ringing of the bells
The bells that sound our time is over it foretells
It was just a short summer and then its all over

Man is just a flower in a life so short, so brief
Death just comes in the night like a thief
Don't let life pass you by in these few moments of grace
Because they are all numbered, our nights and our days.

And so love and laugh a lot and live in freedom and grace
Shower kindness to every man regardless of creed, color and race
Live in senseless abandon, give glory, thanks and praise,
til alas it comes the sunset of the beauty of our days

My borrowed existence
Posted July 31, 2009 by Bodhi
I am just a simple person with simple dreams
A brush on the shoulder, a touch of a feather
I just pass this world and move on hereafter.
I am a shadow no one notices it seems.

Oh how beautiful are the colours and the wonders
The mysterious mountains that hold so much power
I blush at the sea’s charming beauty
I rush with the rivers mighty charge to eternity

In my heart there beats a certain melancholy
A loneliness that feels like a touch of beauty
In this brief moment i am given the chance to see
All the wonders of my borrowed existence in store for me
