Currently, AAVS is working to end pound seizure, the practice of taking animals from shelters and selling them to research facilities. AAVS also operates Animalearn, our humane education division that works to end the use of animals in education, and we are also the Chair of the Leaping Bunny Program, which accredits companies as being truly cruelty-free. (If you haven’t already, please sign our pledge to go cruelty-free in 2009.)
