She has a seven-year-old son who was diagnosed with full-blown autism at 18 months, and a 13-year-old daughter with multiple difficulties in the autism spectrum, including Asperger’s Syndrome. Ms. Corby is currently working towards her Ph.D. in Psychology and plans to return to medical school when completed. She is actively involved as an advocate for her own children, as well as on behalf of others who are unable to advocate for themselves. Her vision is to provide an Autism Solution Center, similar to a St. Jude's, but not related, for Autism that can address the multi-faceted needs of those affected by autism, accessible to everyone, at no cost. Ms. Corby is also a graduate of the Partner’s In Policy Making Leadership Institute, a division of the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities.
