City bus transport cut most of its operating routes leaving people rely on taxis. Scores of them were wound up in the malls till late night. I was inside the bus at 5:15 pm when I saw a dark cloud like a shore line flooding towards the stretch of road in Shuwaikh, within seconds everything was at halt, people inside the bus felt like they were sitting inside a room surrounding by darkness, except for the light inside the bus. The bus stood for nearly 10 minutes and then started moving in snail pace towards the city. A five minutes ride was a 40 minutes ride, once getting down from the bus I had to run to a mall for shelter, some were kind enough to open the door of the mall now and then for the people to take shelter. Mobile transmissions had problem, and in some places even the land lines had connection problems. I reached my apartment somewhere during the middle of the night.
